Modulation The process of impressing information on a carrier wave by changing some of the wave's characteristics (such as amplitude, frequency, or phase) to reflect the changes in the information it delivers. Differently put, modulation effects let you smoothly change the guitar signal’s sound or volume.

Delay Refers to a delay processor or a delay algorithm. The X V-AMP offers four types of delay effects: repetition, and calculates the delay time to the half of the tapped time. create an echo a punctuated 1/8th later, actually creating a 1/16th feel. Available parameters: Time (Tap), Feedback, Mix. |
Reverb An effect that creates a reverberation type sound as you would find in rooms of different sizes. The signal has reverberations added to it to mimic the acoustics of a hall, a room etc. The X V-AMP algorithms include Ambience, Cathedral, Spring and Reverb. Available parameters: Size, Decay and Mix.
